Course content
Concept, goals and strategy of business logistics. Management and organization of enterprise logistics. Customer service. Purchasing management, stock levels. Storage. Transport and transportation. Logistics, logistics system. Logistics enterprise, information technology in logistics. Logistics costs, logistics controlling. Supply chains. Logistics technology. Global logistics. Logistics innovation and continuity with the Industry 4.0 concept.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge of contemporary logistics practice in the Czech Republic and the European Union and the expected development of logistics.
The student who has successfully completed the course is able to propose criteria for the framework assessment of the level of logistics activities in the company, discuss key trends in the development of logistics activities and logistics technologies, justify opportunities and threats.
