Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with social changes and essentials of knowledge-based management. The course results from social changes in knowledge and skills leading to a knowledge society. The accent is put on knowledge company that complies with new social changes and analyses these changes using descriptive and normative models.
A student will master the basic terminology of the knowledge-based economy and knowledge management. He will be able to critically assess the relevance of the methods, techniques and tools in a particular situation and will see the managerial aspects of the development of a knowledge-based economy and implementation of knowledge management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

The assignment is granted upon attendance at seminars and completion of the seminar paper with a minimum success rate of 60 %. The examination is oral (written, conditioned by assignment granting).
