Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with essentials of general problem of threats, risks, crises and prevention. The interpretation results from security policy, it follows-up with the definition of population protection and in detail deals with crises in companies and institutions. Except general interpretation of coalition approaches and approaches in certain countries the attention is paid to concrete solution in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the attention is paid to legislative coherence of crisis substance, especially so called crisis laws and functions of public administration. Students are, further, introduced to crises in companies and institutions divided into extraordinary situations and activity crisis including economic criminality.
Students will be acquainted with basic knowledges in risk management, emergencies and crises. Will be familiar with the environment of crisis management within the public administration of the Czech Republic. Acquire basic knowledge in the risk management business.

The assignment conditions: at least 75 % of attendance, acceptance and defence of seminar work. The examination is in written form.
