Course content
Basic etiquette rules. Communication - basic terms. Basic ways of communication behaviour. Different civilizations. Types of audience and their needs. Colors in presentations. Animations. Graphs - presentation of information by means of various graphs. Types of presentation. Elements and structure of presentation. Structure of a professional presentation. Basic rules for writing professional documents, e.g. thesis.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
Area of intended study is focused on preparation of base materials for presentation for different types of audience.
Students will learn how to prepare their presentation for different types of audience efficiently.
Prerequisites
Basic skills with utilization of MS Word and MS PowerPoint, searching on Internet.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Assignment: successful elaboration of tasks in practical classes, final test (at minimum 60 %) and defence of a project. Detailed information will be provided during the first lecture.
