Course content
Rozhodování a rozhodovací proces. Přístupy k rozhodování za jistoty, rizika a neurčitosti. Vícekriteriální rozhodování za jistoty. Analytický hierarchický proces. Vlastní vektory, vlastní čísla a konzistentnost rozhodování. Rozhodování za neurčitosti a rizika. Syntéza a analýza metod vícekriteriálního rozhodování. Rozhodování a jeho počítačová podpora. Technologie pro podporu rozhodování.

  • Writing a seminar paper - 60 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is for students to gain theoretical knowledge in the field of decision theory and skills in designing algorithms for decision-making methods.
A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: define decision-making from a systems perspective, define and describe individual phases of the decision-making process, define the solution of the decision-making process, characterize and describe selected decision-making methods under certainty, risk and uncertainty. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: solve simple decision-making tasks, recognize the correct method for solving the decision-making process, control the basic environment of the software used for decision support. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: communicate information about selected decision-making methods to experts and laypeople in a clear manner, summarize and present the results achieved in the decision-making process in a clear manner.
