Course content
Introduction to the subject and basic concepts in the field of e-Learning. Educational strategy and plan. Specifics of adult education. Specifics of study materials for e-Learning. e-Learning in the Czech Republic, development phases, components and types, basic characteristics. E-Learning tools, their characteristics, properties of individual LMS. The process of creating your own learning unit. Organization of training unit preparation. Training unit preparation. Processing of the teaching unit and its evaluation. Modern trends (Blended e-Learning, virtual reality).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of e-Learning, the implementation of e-Learning in the organization, its use for further education, the creation of e-Learning courses and the selection of a suitable LMS system.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: demonstrate knowledge of basic concepts in the field of e-Learning; define the basic characteristics of e-Learning; describe the educational strategy and plan; characterize the specifics of adult education; describe study materials for e-Learning their advantages and disadvantages; explain the stages of e-Learning development in the Czech Republic, define the basic components, types and characteristics; characterize e-Learning tools; distinguish individual types of LMS and describe properties; describe modern trends. A student who has successfully completed the course will be able to: create study material for e-Learning; recognize individual LMS; use a tool to create a learning unit; design and create your own learning unit; identify modern trends in this area. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: clearly summarize the views of other team members; clearly and convincingly communicate to experts and leymen about professional problems and their own opinion on their solution.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Systematic monitoring

Assignment: participation in seminars (see FES decree), elaboration of assigned tasks at seminars, with a success rate of over 60%, elaboration and successful defense of a project on a given topic within the set deadlines. Exam: will take place in written form (concepts and theories from lectures), oral part - defense of the semester project. The form and dates of the exam will be determined by the teacher based on current epidemiological measures.
