  • Preparation for an exam - 50 hours per semester
  • Contact teaching - 52 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 48 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is for students to gain theoretical knowledge in the field of decision theory and skills in designing algorithms for decision-making methods.
A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: define decision-making from a systems perspective, define and describe individual phases of the decision-making process, define the solution of the decision-making process, characterize and describe selected decision-making methods under certainty, risk and uncertainty. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: solve simple decision-making tasks, recognize the correct method for solving the decision-making process, control the basic environment of the software used for decision support. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: communicate information about selected decision-making methods to experts and laypeople in a clear manner, summarize and present the results achieved in the decision-making process in a clear manner.
