Course content
Intelligence services - used information and their nature. Non-governmental intelligence services as a form of private detective services and its technologies. Primary and secondary information sources for non-governmental intelligence services. Defence and offensive non-governmental intelligence services. Security manager and his/her role in economic activities protection. Role of manager of detective office.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to broaden basic knowledge in the area of private detective service, to provide more detailed principles of private detective work, to clarify the forms of private detective work, the methods of private detective work, the means used in private detective work.
The students will acquire an awareness of the private detective management sphere. They will be able to co-operate with specialists in the private detective service sphere and to join in management in a given area. They will be able to design basic systems of procedures in detective work and define their benefits. They will be able to share the implementation of tasks in the area of economic interest defence and collecting information, as well as evidence for administrative procedures and court cases.

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis

Assignment: elaboration and defence of a project. Examination: writen and oral, for PMDC1 and PMDC2 together. Detailed information will be provided during the first lecture.
