Course content
eGovernment eDocument and related tools. Information systems within public administration. Methods, techniques and tools of system analysis and IS design. Case tools within project life-cycle. Structured and object oriented focused approaches. Data structures, relational model. Object modeling, principles, modelling standard UML Frameworks of informatics - COBIT, ITIL. Analysis and design will be carried out in (demo) versions of structured and object focused products (for instance MS Visio, case/4/0, CaseStudio, CraftCase, ARIS).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire awareness of the methods and tools within the lifecycle of an information system; focusing on information systems of public administration and their role in eGovernment.
The students will be able to apply selected methods and techniques of present methods for analysis and design of information systems. They will also be able to use both the structured and object approaches, and to create models in selected modeling tools of the case type.

Oral examination, Written examination, Didactic test, Discussion

The assignment is granted elaboration of given tasks; there are made public in the system Moodle (course PPIS) at the beginning of semester. The examination consists of two parts, written and oral. It examines theoretical knowledge of presented themes and the student ability of practical task elaboration.
