Course content
Introduction to general system theory and general system characteristics. Static and dynamic systems description. Cybernetic systems examples. Definitions, division and introductory mathematical description of control systems. Elements and characteristics of linear control systems. Modelling and design of control systems simulation models. Tools for modelling and simulation of systems in MATLAB/Simulink/Continuous.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide theoretical knowledge in the field of system theory and control, as well as the skills necessary for designing simulation cybernetic economics models in MATLAB.
Students will be able to use mathematical tools for the analysis of logical, continuous linear and fuzzy control systems, based on which they can design a mathematical model and apply and analyse it in MATLAB.
Prerequisites
unspecified

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Work-related product analysis

Assignment is conditional to minimum attendance at seminars and completion of continuous tasks set at seminars, as well as passing the final test at the final seminar.
