Course content
|
Mathematical description of dynamic control systems. System control characteristics. System modelling and identification. Tools for system modelling and simulation in MATLAB and designing m-files in MATLAB. Synthesis of continuous linear control systems. Analysis and synthesis of discreet, adaptive and fuzzy control systems. "Soft" control systems.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to get the students to understand the necessity of an interdisciplinary approach to system study, solving problems of complexity and inner dependency among the system elements, as well as to teach them skills to create simulation cybernetic economic models in MATLAB.
The students will be able to design a mathematical model of systems of logical control, continuous linear control, discrete control systems, adaptive control and fuzzy control system type in MATLAB/Simulink and to analyse the results.

Prerequisites
|
Assumed elementary knowledge of logic, fuzzy and linear continuous control.

|
Written examination, Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis
Assignment is conditional to the following requirements: - minimum attendance at seminars in compliance with the relevant regulations - completion of continuous tasks at seminars - passing the final test at the final seminar The examination is written.
