Course content
Theoretical exposition. Population geography. Settlement geography. Global view of world economic geography. Geography of agriculture. Geography of industry. Transport geography.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with basic information about economic geography and create prerequisites for the integrated conception of the analyzed issue.
Students will acquire knowledge about global outline of the socioeconomic phenomena in the contemporary world (population, settlements, industry, agriculture and transport) and will be able to interpret economic geography disciplines within particular continents.
Prerequisites
Presumption of the registration on this subject is knowledge of geographic disciplines on the level of secondary school.

Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Work-related product analysis

The assignment is granted upon completion of the following conditions: seminar work + passing the final written test.
