Course content
|
Basic communication processes, social interactions in special groups. Nonverbal communication and metacommunication. Interpersonal communication - characteristics, cultural influences and differences. Active regulation interventions in communication (listening, questioning, etc.). Social facilitation, conformity, influence. Group communication, variants of communication networks and their effectiveness on group communication. Leadership of people and forms of communication-task orientation, orientation on work with people. Leadership styles and forms of communication - task orientation, work orientation. Conducting an interview - goal, schedule, structure, factors of time and environment. Management of meetings, meetings, meetings. Communication of institutions with the public, assumptions and principles. Strengthening of selected skills, feedback, the most important knowledge. Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire the skills of communicating, discussing and understanding the communication process in a broader context and through active concentration in nature to recognize and develop selected personal competences, through interaction with the environment to recognize one's own behaviour and the behaviour of others in various and often stressful situations.
A student who has successfully completed the course will be able to: distinguish the key principles of teamwork with respect to the group's goal, dynamics and composition; choose appropriate communication methods for the situation and follow the primary principles of good communication; apply the principles of teamwork in different situations by practicing teamwork in different real and model situations; at the same time, define the internal limits for this type of cooperation and define their role in the group hierarchy and take appropriate positions accordingly; apply simple procedures to mitigate them with regard to the ability to correctly perceive oneself as a participant in a conflict or stressful event; recognise different forms of communication; recognise the basic types of conflicts and stressful situations; distinguish between different psycho-hygiene principles; A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: Teamwork; manage workload.

Assessment methods and criteria

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis, Discussion, Systematic monitoring
Assignment will be awarded based on completion of assignments and activity in class. Furthermore, it is based on attendance according to the relevant faculty regulation. Students will complete oral and partial practice assignments and present themselves as authentic human beings through experiential and training activities.
