Course content


Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
  • Preparation of a presentation (report) - 10 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 18 hours per semester
  • Individual project - 20 hours per semester
  • Team project - 24 hours per semester
  • Contact teaching - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course describes various approaches, methods, communication and practical skills that are needed in order to stay competitive on a job market. Today's job market is flexible and ever-changing. It is imperative for students to orient themselves in it and be able to effectively access up-to-date information, such as how to prepare for a job interview with a prospective employer, how to create a CV, how to gain basic legal knowledge and other. How to cope with stressful environment and strained situations is also a part of the course. The course will further focus on deepening self-knowledge and self-reflection. The other part of the course will focus on communication skills training, with emphasis on self-presentation and expressive language skills. The aim of the course is to increase personal competencies that are needed for students to successfully enter the job market.
