- Introduction to Corpus Linguistics - Corpora accessible via Sketchengine, e.g., BNC - Concordances, context, frequency distribution - Using regular expressions for querying - CQL (Corpus Query Language) - Collocations and association measures - Parallel corpora - InterCorp

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the basic concepts and tools used in corpus linguistics for the purposes of language teaching and translation studies. Through practical exercises, students develop skills in exploring language corpora, verifying linguistic phenomena, and interpreting them with precision. Students will need to bring their own computers to classes!
