Course content

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to enhance the knowledge of the students in the field of the contemporary British drama. The development of the British drama of the second half of the twentieth century will be followed chronologically and will be based on chosen primary texts which in many cases correspond with the strains of a particular period. Chosen plays will be analysed and in some cases compared with the film version.
Students will deepen their knowledge of British drama and will be able to analyze plays.

The attendance of the seminars is obligatory. Students will get the credits provided they will read all the plays from the list, they will participate actively during the seminars and perform a part of a chosen play.
