This course builds on previous practical language courses and aims at further enhancements of students' communicative competencies in the English tongue at the proficiency level. Students will refine their communicative skills and effective use of the language in oral as well as written form in a broad variety of contexts. Individual classes will focus on specific topics related especially to current events home and abroad or hot issues from science or culture. Special emphasis is placed on improvement of orientation in authentic printed and audio materials, as well as on discussion of given topics.
This subject aims to further develop students advanced-level English language skills and develop broader competencies in all forms of English communication, both from a formal and informal perspective.
