Course content
inflectional vs. derivational morphemes phrase structure, syntactic functions of phrases nominal categories, noun phrases adverbs vs. adverbials verbal categories non-finite verb forms: formal realization and syntactic functions subordinate clauses and their functions

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to consolidate and broaden the knowledge and skills acquired in morphology and syntax courses. Students will be able to apply these skills in analysis of authentic language material.
student will become familiar with the field and they will be able to apply the acquired skills in their own linguistic work (or while teaching) and also while preparing for the state exams

active participation in seminars (including home assignments and preparation), students can only miss two seminars in semester
