Evaluating Digital Content - Assessing the effectiveness and appropriacy of online materials. - Identifying reliable sources for language learning resources. E-Safety and Digital Literacy - Guidelines for safe and responsible use of technology. - Developing digital literacy skills for teachers and learners. Creating Digital Teaching Materials - Phases Of Teaching: Pre-Active, Inter-Active and Post-Active - Using technology to design engaging lesson materials (e.g., presentations, worksheets). - Incorporating multimedia elements (images, audio, video) into teaching resources. Interactive Language Learning Apps and Websites - Exploring language learning apps and websites. - Integrating interactive exercises and quizzes into lessons. Blended Learning and Flipped Classroom - Understanding the concept of blended learning. - Designing activities that combine face-to-face and online components. Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on integrating ICT into the ELT classroom, not only from the perspective of instruction but also from other angles (e.g., integrating ICT into communication with parents). The course aims to introduce a historical review of ICT integration to understand the current concept of integration and emphasizes the pedagogical use of ICT in ELT. At the end of the course, students will be able to critically evaluate modern teaching aids and suggest ways of their meaningful integration in the ELT classroom.
