Course content
1. Communication, social communication, pedagogical communication and interaction. 2. Verbal and non-verbal communication. 3. Classroom English. 4. Teacher talk. Learner talk (modifications, questioning, feedback). 5. Classroom management, administrative and organizational stuff issues. 6. Communicating with colleagues (school climate, team work, etc.) 7. Cooperating with parents. 8. Self-monitoring and reflection techniques. 9. Voice care, mental care.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities, Demonstration, Skills training, Stimulating activities (simulation, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is future language teachers´ professional competence development, especially in the fields of social and pedagogical communication.
Evolvement of specific skills will be based on training through experience oriented situation conceptions. Attention will be given to relevant theoretical background (concept of communicative competence, Krashen´s theory of second language acquisition, etc.) as well as to relevant key documents (CEFR, etc.).
