Course content
Husserl's phenomenology. Logical exploration. Empty beliefs and fulfillment. The principle of all the principles. Towards the things themselves. Hume's razor. Eidetic categorical acts. Sensualicism, empiricism. The critique of metaphysics. Brentano and Aristotle.

Learning outcomes
Students will focus on the interpretation of a book by Jan Patočka: The Introduction of Phenomenological Philosophy in this Philosophical Seminar 2.
This course should improve student competence by confroting them with the reading of difficult theoretical texts that develop thinking.

Students must attend seminars (more than 80% of the time). A ten-page seminar paper based on a list of recommended literature is required, as is an understanding of the interpreted literature.
