Course content
Conjugation of deponent verbs. Numerals. Conjunctive of imperfect, conjunctive present of the verb "esse". Conjunctive present I. - IV. conjugation. Indicative of active perfect; the verb "sum", "esse", "fui". Demonstrative pronouns.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is the acquisition of knowledge of Latin morphology and partly syntax. Students will broaden their knowledge of deponent verb conjugation; formation of conjunctive present, imperfect, and indicative of active perfect in all conjugations; as well as demonstrative pronouns and numerals. As for sentence structure, the student will learn purpose clauses and conjunctives in subordinate clauses. The range of vocabulary is around 900-1,000 words. The student will read longer and more difficult Latin texts and some less difficult texts by classical authors.
Students should know all tenses, demonstrative pronouns, numerals,vocabulary(1000 words), a part of syntax and be able to read and translate long texts and less difficult texts of ancient writers.

Written examination, Discussion

Regular attendance at lessons (with a maximum of three absences without excuse per term) is a condition for credit and for taking the examination. Furthermore, the student must achieve a sufficient evaluation on the examination paper.
