Course content
The course builds on previous courses (knowledge of basic Greek morphology and syntax is assumed). The aim of the course is to consolidate knowledge of ancient Greek grammar and vocabulary and to improve reading skills in continuous Greek texts. Texts for reading will be provided to students during the seminar.

Learning outcomes
Greek reading (prior knowledge of Greek morphology and syntax is assumed). The course will focus on reading Greek texts, primarily philosophical ones. In addition, some more complex grammatical phenomena will be discussed.
The aim of the course is to provide philosophy students with basic training that will enable them to work with original texts (learning the basics of ancient Greek grammar, vocabulary, etc.).

Active participation and passing an exam consisting of a written and oral part (reading a prepared text).
