Course content
|
Alphabet and pronunciation of the literary Polish. How to read and understand vowels, the vowel's groups, consonants, duplicated consonants, sentential and verbal accent. The pronunciation's practice. Men / people (dziecko, chłopczyk, student atd.), the verb: mieć, adjectives: ładny, sympatyczny, ambitny, inteligentny etc. Greetings (formal and familiar) II, the verbs: przepraszać, czekać, pamiętać, rozmawiać. Numbers 1-20, the question about the age. Family, family relations I, the verbs: mieć, znać. Nations, states and their peoples, the numbers 20-100. The visit, the verbs: chcieć, studiować, mówić, rozumieć, mieszkać, odwiedzać, przedstawiać. Look and character I, the question: jaký / jaká je? Adverb: dobrze, źle, dużo, mało, często, rzadko atd., the elementary numbers: 100-1000000. The verbs: wiedzieć, umieć, the repeating of the adverbs. Free time: sport and, the verb: woleć. Free time: theatre, cinema, music, the verbs: prosić, musieć, uwielbiać, odmawiać, spotkać się. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the verbs: jeść, pić. Reception and reading (the understanding the written and speaking speeches). The Polish holidays.

Learning outcomes
|
The preliminary language ability of the student is on the level A0+ Common European Reference Framework for Languages. The course is focused on the basics of the Polish grammar with concentration on the primary communication abilities development; further on the basic vocabulary and realization of different conversational practices. Topics of everyday life will be selected for discussions at this course.
After finishing the course, students will be able to understand the basic terms and simple sentences used in the everyday life. The student will be able to act as a friend, neighbour, relative, tourist, student, customer.

Oral examination, Written examination, Oral performance analysis, Didactic test
Active participation on the seminars (at least 80% attendance, there will be special written assignment in the case of non-excuse absence). The fulfilment of the all study duties (all homeworks, the positive evaluation of the final written examination),
