Course content
Criticism. Personalities and creation. To the typology of not only literary criticism. Critical thinking. Criticism and the theory of translation. How to make something with words. Perspectives of power. LTI and related phenomena. Content analysis. The tyranny of the word. Fortune-telling. Advertisement. Ideology.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Monitoring
Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to continue the topics covered in the previous courses, since their content is greater than the outlined scheme. This is equally true with the new topics that will be considered. In this term, the main stress will be on adopting a personal attitude and its expression based on the acquired theoretical knowledge and practice in the preceding two terms.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Oral performance analysis, Creative work analysis

Credit is based upon writing a one-page review of a book (or a performance, exhibition, film, or something similar); submitting, in a written form, a presented paper on the topic "What has meaning and sense for me?" (five pages in length; including a list of the literature considered and a review to the given topic) and passing a test.
