Course content
Course addresses the development of student research competences, ability to apply adequate methodological procedures and current scholarly theories. Will be specified by the seminar supervisor.

Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
Doctoral seminar focuses on the development of student?s research abilities; in particular individual tuitions with seminar supervisor (thesis supervisor conducts minimally three seminars of five during PhD studies). Main goals concern the formulation and preparation of doctoral thesis and of publication of partial results, especially journal article.
Ability to elaborate theoretically challenging problems and to write scholarly articles.

Home assignment evaluation

Besides regular and active participation in seminars, students are also obliged to pass to seminar supervisor a scholarly text concerned with the topic of their doctoral thesis prepared for publication.
