Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the phenomenology of religion, one of the two methodological approaches of the first half of 20th century. The origins of phenomenology of religion, so called understanding phenomenology and newer phenomenological approaches, so called neophenomenology of religion will be discussed during semestr. There will be focus on the problems concerning phenomenological understanding and reexperiencing of religious contents, making of ideal types and typology of religious persons according to van der Leeuw.
Interrpretation of scholars texts in foreign language. Reflextion of theoretical problems of study of religion.
Prerequisites
Ability of reading of english scholars texts.

Student performance assessment, Systematic monitoring

Requirement for pass: - active participation in the seminar (preperation from lecture to lecture, two absences are tolerated) - assumption of report of the lecture
