Course content
Declination of feminine nouns (a-roots). Declination of feminine nouns (i-, u-roots). Other pronouns. Declination of masculine nouns (i-, u-roots). Medium of present. Medium of imperfect, of imperative and optative. Declination of nouns of masculine and feminine gender (r-roots). Revision. Irregularities in declination of nouns of masculine gender. Declination of nouns of feminine gender (ú-roots). Verbs with prefixes.

Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to focus on the grammar and vocabulary mentioned below, and emphasis will be put on practicing basic verbal systems.
Students will be introduced to Jiří Toman's method, which is efficient in connecting the learning of vocabulary with pracitcing rules of grammar.

Attendance during lesson is required (two absences are permitted; otherwise, homework compensation will be given). Credit is dependent on doing the homework for each lesson (forgetting one's homework is acceptable only twice, and the reasons have to be relevant) and on passing a written and an oral test at the end of the course.
