Course content
How to read an academic text. How to write an academic text and how to process gained data. Abstract and resumé. Quotation rules. Presentation of the project.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to introduce the students to the characteristics of an academic text and to the possibilities of work with social data gained during their own field research.
Students will be familiar with relevant methodological concepts of academic writing and they will be able to submit theoretical basis for their bachelor thesis proposals.

Attendance is compulsory. Active participation is required as well as submission of a final seminar paper - based on the bachelor thesis topic. Detailed assessment rules will be specified at the beginning of the course.
