Course content
|
Imperative of the verbs of the I. and II. class. Coordinating conjunctions and diminutives. Ordinal and multiple numbers. Vocative. The verbs "te del" and "te lel". Indirect case. Accusative and its use.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the course is to practise and broaden the elementary vocabulary and enhance students' language competence for possible field research in the Roma language environment.
Students will learn the main morphology categories and they will have elementary competence for simple communication in Roma language (can use basic phrases and will learn the most common answers for questions asked when meeting the people in Roma communities for the first time). Language competence will increase by using the verbs of the I. and II. class in present tense and nouns in the accusative (including the verb to have).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic test, Discussion
Active participation in seminars, 3 tolerated absences. Gaining at least 80 points (out of 100) in one of the first two tests and in the final test the student is successful at least in 50% (the condition for signing in for the oral exam). Speaking and conversation will be monitored during the seminars.
