Course content
|
The content of the course is to expand the vocabulary and supplement the knowledge of the grammatical structure of Romani. Perfectum of the verbs of the I., II. and III. class. Overview of the remaining falls and their use (genitive, locative, instrumental, ablative). Two types of conditioner and their using. Conversation with a native speaker - conversation areas: "Home and family", "Shopping", "Traveling", "Cooking", "Schooling". Reading Romani texts, for example Sar me phiravas andre škola, selected texts from Romano džaniben, book production from the Kher publishing house (https://kher.cz/), winning entries in the Romano suno competition (http://www.novaskolaops.cz/ romano-suno /) and others. Conversation topic: "Home and family". Reading: "Pal e kori čhaj". Conversation topic: "Travelling". Reading: "Trastune benga". Conversation topic: "Shopping". Reading: "Rapune danda". Conversation topic: "Cooking". Reading: "Pal o duj bibija".

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the course is to develop speaking by conversation and reading skills in the Roma language and translation into Czech.
Students will be able to understand spoken Roma language and to communicate with native speakers on the everyday basis. They will be able to translate simple texts into Czech.

Prerequisites
|
Students have successfully completed the BRO1, BRO2, BRO3 and BRO4 courses prior to this course.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic test, Discussion
Attendance at the seminars and passing three grammatical tests, oral interview on a pre-assigned topic.
