Learning outcomes
|
Students will learn how to structure the problem or topic of their bachelor's thesis in a factual manner, select and analyze relevant information sources, write their own professional text, and anchor it adequately in theory. Students will learn the principles of authoring a professional text, the rules for working with the ideas of other authors (citation and other forms of use), and the principles of formal and stylistic editing of a professional text. They will learn to present the results of their work in public and to use time management principles in their own professional work.
Students will learn the principles of academic writing, rules for using quotations, they will be familiar with formal and stylistic features of an academic text. They will be able to present their work and to use the principles of time management in their own academic work.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis, Systematic monitoring, Presentation
Active participation in seminars. 75% attendance. Students will report on the aims and state of their thesis and the outcomes of the individual phases will be discussed. The project of the thesis will be presented on a specified date. In the second part of the seminar, students will familiarise themselves with the drafts of the other papers. Other students' comments will influence the handling of the thesis subject as well as its final version. Thesis project and draft will be submitted to the consultant in written form in order to consult these. Assignment will be awarded on the basis of fulfilling all tasks.
