Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the cultural and social specifics of Central Asia. The history and present of the region will be analyzed primarily in the context of the transformation following the collapse of the USSR, ethnic changes, migration, and transnational processes.
Graduates of this course will gain a basic understanding of the historical and social characteristics of the Central Asian region.
