Course content
How to read an academic text. How to write an academic text and how to process gained data. Abstract and resumé. Quotation rules. Review. Comparison. Compilation. The original academic text.

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to introduce the students to the characteristics of an academic text and to the possibilities of work with social data gained during their own field research.
Students will be familiar with relevant methodological concepts of academic writing and they will be able to submit theoretical basis for their bachelor thesis proposals.
