Learning outcomes
|
The exercise is divided into blocks corresponding to the theoretical and, above all, practical preparation of a one-day conference. Students will learn about the various areas of preparation and organization of a scientific conferenceinviting guests, call for papers, promotion, program organization, securing venues, technical aspects of organization, conference financing, conference implementation, and subsequent evaluation.
Students will try out teamwork and the individual roles of organizers of a specific scientific event. As part of the preparations, they will understand the connections between the individual steps and the importance of a high-quality implementation plan.
