Course content
Basic philosophical and ethical terms. Basic philosophical and ethical themes. Basic philosophical and ethical problems. The phenomenon of a human being. A human being in a critical situation from a philosophical and ethical point of view.

Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to introduce the students to the contemporary ethical and philosophical themes, concepts and problems. They will serve as the basis of the initiation of the reflection on the phenomenon of a human being in a critical situation with which the students will be confronted theoretically as well as practically during their career in this field.
The students will enhance their knowledge in the field of ethics for educators with regard to the students´ specialization.

Written examination

Focusing on the recommended literature, active participation in the seminars, seminar paper on a chosen topic.
