Course content
|
Introduction to social research methodology - specifics of research approaches, ethical aspects of research work. Theory of research work - research problem, questions, hypotheses, variables, research population. Quantitative and qualitative oriented research. Functions and roles of mixed methods research. Basic data collection techniques, selected expert techniques. Verbal and graphical data processing, data interpretation. Research quality, validity and reliability of instruments. Writing and forms of final reports, research projects.

Learning outcomes
|
The student is able to independently develop a research project on his/her own topic in the field of resocialization pedagogy. He/she is able to choose adequate research methods, justify the research methodology, present the design of the solution and explain the use of research results in practice.
