Course content
The introduction to systematic theory, taking over supervision and offering help. The character of SW in a particular institution. Socially legal protection of children. Institutional care. Care for seniors. Ethic of SW. Current questions of SW.

Learning outcomes
The course is related to the course SOPR1. The students will become familiar with theoretical points of departure of social work through the introduction to theory and through the analysis of dilemmas in social work.
The students will acquire experiences through excursions to various types of institutions of social work. The experience will be analysed and theoretically strengthened in seminars. The knowledge of topics such as institutional care, alternative family care, socially legal protection of children, care for seniors and so on is a prerequisite.
