|
ntroduction to archival studies, the term archive, brief history of the field. The system of archives in the Czech Republic and its historical development, internal organization of archives, code lists of archives. History of the National Archives and archive files stored in the National Archives. The project and the present of the National Digital Archive. Concept of archives, archive files (funds and collections), creation and typology of archive files. Records of the National Archival Heritage (forms and procedures), record units, record sheets of the National Archival Heritage, in paper and electronic form. National cultural monuments and archival cultural monuments in archives. Decommissioning of archive files, methods of measuring archives, volume of digital archives. Peculiarities of selected archive files. Receipts of digital archives depending on document formats. The issue of accreditation of archives, including digital ones. Archives and other cultural and scientific institutions managing archives.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide basic information about the structure of archives and archive funds and the theory of records, on the basis of which it is possible to develop further theoretical and practical knowledge. The student will then be able to use the acquired knowledge as a basis for continuing this subject. The aim of the subject is to master the basics of analog archiving for orientation in the archival environment.
The student will subsequently be able to use the acquired theoretical knowledge as a basis for studying the field and subject of digital archiving.

Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Discussion
Taking the exam according to the university's exam regulations. Form: written test, questions according to the content of the subject, supplemented by a free interview. In the course of the semester, a paper on the topic of peculiarities of archive files.
