Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the essentials of some of the historical sciences. An understanding of palaeography, chronology, historical metrology, diplomacy, numismatics, sfragistics, epigraphy, heraldry, genealogy, codicology, historical geography, and other accessory sciences will enable students to be critical to the authentic historical source.
Students will master the techniques of critical analysis of authentical historical sources. They will learn to read it and understand the chronological, metrological, numismatical and other datas.
