Economy and trade 12. The Revolutions of 1848

Learning outcomes
The lectures offer new insights into the history of the European Pre-March Period (1815-1848) through the selected topics and upon the state of latest historical research. The principal aim of the lectures is to re-evaluate some aspects of this period and familiarise the students with new opportunities of historical research in this respect.
Extensive knowledge of political, social, economic, cultural, and military history from 1815 to 1848 and the ability to contextualize it within the broader temporal perspective of European and world history.
Prerequisites
Ability to understand a lecture in English.

Oral examination

Participation in lectures with two tolerated two leaves.
