Course content
Introduction to historical urbanism The historical map data, especially maps of stable land-registry. The typological development floor plan layout of villages, towns, cities and other areas, including the relation to the landscape, in the Czech Lands from the Middle Ages to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The tutorial presentations of seminary works.

Learning outcomes
The ability to identify and describe the register of historical architectural districts in the landscape using basic map sources.
The overview of register districts of historical buildings in the landscape.
Prerequisites
The graduation of the course PHSK in first year of study.

Assessment methods and criteria
Work-related product analysis

The seminary work with a situational analysis of the selection of cities, towns and villages in the selected region by maps of stable land-registry.
