Course content
General procedure at restoration procedure treatment of works of art on paper using mock-up samples and graphical worksheet: Initial exploration, transport to the studio, Restoration exploration - non-destructive (UV, IR, RTG, daylight) and destructive exploration methods (chemical-technological exploration, sounding), restoration documentation, item preservation, disinfection, cleaning - mechanical (dry method), wet processes, chemical, neutralization of works (support pH increase) - bandages, bath, spraying, sizing, filling of missing parts - pouring using paper pulp suspension, gluing-in a supplement, stacking-up Japanese paper, retouching - dry (crayon, graphite), aqueous (watercolor), chemical (mineral pigments hydroxyl-prophyl-cellulose/synthetic resins), artifact adjusting - mount (triple, double), folder made of alkaline cardboard, envelope made of melinex.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to obtain basic knowledge from the scope for the restoration of works of art on paper, adoption of the principles of conservation and restoration work, including making careful documentation.
Student can cope with all restoration acts to be art piece created combined technique on the combined subfolder.

The test is carried out on the basis of the evaluation of the results specified practical work.
