Course content
|
An exploratory analysis of one-dimensional data in an interactive analysis of univariate data. Statistical testing and diagnostic graphs of the analysis of univariate data. Statistical testing and analysis of one-dimensional nominal data. Surveys and evaluation of acquired data. Summary of the principles for the processing of statistical data in the framework of a diploma thesis. Practicing exploratory analysis. The statistical testing and diagnostic charts. Surveys and evaluation of the nominal data. Preparation for statistical processing of data in the context of the thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with an overview of the methods of interactive statistical data processing on the computer in medicine and midwifery. Besides the methodology of the interactive dialog of the data analysis is the student familiar with their practical application to the tasks of midwifery and also from the biochemical, medical and pharmacological practice. Part of teaching is an individual solution of problems from medical practice in the form of semestral work on the statistical software ADSTAT and STATISTICA.
The student has the knowledge and practical skills in the context of the most commonly used software in the Czech Republic in the field of computer analysis of medical and other science data.

|
Oral examination, Written examination
Completion of compulsory attendance at the lectures and practicum. Completion of a written test or oral examination according to the course guarantor's decision.
