Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of nuclear and radiation physics and dosimetry.
Students will acquire an overview of the methods of detection and measurement of ionizing radiation in different conditions. At the end of the course, they solve basic numerical tasks related to radioactivity and dosimetry, know quantities and units used in nuclear physics, distinguish the different types of ionizing radiation and their interactions.
Prerequisites
unspecified
KIR/P1AMA and KIR/P1RFR

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of a written test or an oral examination according to the course guarantor's decision.
