Theory of probability Mathematical statistics Transformation of responses to achieve normal distribution and the most common mistakes made during statistical evaluation Scientific research methodology Healthcare research methodology General fundamentals of work with information Conducting a search in electronic sources of information I. Overview of statistical tests. Calculation of the mean and standard deviation. Creating citations according to the type of information sources. Searching electronic information sources II. Organization, assignment, and planning of a bachelor's thesis. Formal arrangement of a bachelor's thesis. Practical drill: work with text and graphic editors. Preparation of a professional communication, poster.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic overview of statistical methods used in medicine and natural science.
The student knows the theory of probability and practical application of research methods using the MS Excel processor and is able to search for information in electronic sources of information.
