Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
Roentgenology The aim of the course is to significantly deepen and broaden theoretical and practical knowledge of instrument technology, to understand the meaning and aims of radiological examinations and preparation for such examinations. Oncology The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge in the field of oncology.
The student knows the principles of skiagraphy, skiascopy, CT scans, ultrasonography, and mammography, and knows the pitfalls and complications of each examination. The student is able to prepare the patient for these examinations. The student knows the issue of carcinogenesis, the issue of risk factors of developing cancer, knows the individual therapeutic methods in oncology and their complications, and knows the issue of early diagnostics and screening programmes.
