Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to equip students with knowledge of a field that combines clinical and laboratory medicine into one specialization. Conventional nursing issues are combined with the necessity of a quick judgment in the case of sudden complications arising in connection with pregnancy and childbirth.
The student knows procedures related to collection and analysis of biological material meant for examination or application. From the perspective of pathophysiological phenomena, he/she understands the complexity of mechanisms connected with a whole range of positive as well as negative feedbacks, whose deregulation is expressed through disorders of various organs and systems.
