Course content
|
Diseases of the head and neck. Diseases of the oesophagus, gastroduodenal ulcer disease. Diseases of the stomach. Diseases of the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. Diseases of the small intestine, nonspecific intestinal inflammation. Diseases of the large intestine. Hernia.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with issues in the field of special surgery.
The student will know fundamentals of surgery of the head and neck, neurosurgery, endocrinosurgery, thoracic surgery, abdominal surgery, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, urology, traumatology, paediatric surgery, and plastic surgery.

Assessment methods and criteria

Didactic test
Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the lectures. Successful completion of a written test.
