Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Skills training
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the issue of radiation oncology. Teaching takes place in three semesters and students gradually acquire basic knowledge and skills from the organization of oncological care, with the possibility of combining individual treatments and principles of radiation at the molecular, cellular, tissue and also at the level of the whole organism. Individual irradiation techniques are explained, including the planning of radiation treatment for oncological ones, but even with non-tumorous diagnoses.
Students will acquire knowledge and skills within the scope of the subject syllabus and will be ready to use them in radiotherapy clinical practice
